I first met Morgan and Ali over a long distance phone call. While one of them was just a state away, the other was across the country-but that didn't stop us from planning for the wedding of their dreams right here in Iowa. These two are so caring and sweet, and I couldn't wait to meet them in person to celebrate their marriage.
After planning for months, we had everything pretty much set and ready to go - we really just had to wait for the big day to arrive. However, the Covid 19 pandemic had arrived here in the U.S., and indoor gatherings were severely restricted. After some thought however, these two decided that having an intimate wedding with their closest friends and family was going to be way better than no wedding at all.
So we shifted our plans to move forward, adjusting for a much smaller event. It ended up being a marvelous spring day at Little Lights on the Lane. Everyone was dressed their best, each and every person with a genuine smile and thankfulness to celebrate together. It was such a heartfelt day for these two.
When you've got each other, there's nothing you can't accomplish - including getting married in a pandemic.
Morgan was such a gorgeous, glowing bride. Her smile is infectious!
A quiet moment of prayer for the groom's family preceding the ceremony.
A moody yet fresh flower palette of quicksand and amnesia roses, anemones, lisianthus, and chocolate queen anne's lace was perfect for their spring nuptials.
