When a new wedding venue comes to town, I get absolutely giddy with excitement! The Eastern Iowa corridor has some beautiful venues-but overall, the quantity of unique spaces for couples to celebrate their wedding is lacking. Enter the HarMac! The newest wedding venue in Cedar Rapids is an versatile warehouse style space in a historic downtown brick building, and is a must see if you're planning a wedding!
I was invited to this beautiful inspiration shoot at the HarMac by the team at Rooted Photo Co. Moody, rich tones of burgundy complimented by soft peaches softened the brick and stone backdrop. A stunning asymmetrical hanging floral installation created a dramatic and unique wedding ceremony backdrop in front of the expanse of windows.
The flower palette included a lush mix of ranunculus, roses, allium, carnations, amaranthus, hydrangea, chrysanthemums, and a variety of textural greenery.

The HarMac looks absolutely stunning as a wedding venue! The combination of rich burgundy tones, soft peaches, and the dramatic hanging floral installation creates such an inviting and romantic atmosphere. The unique industrial charm of the space reminds me of the beauty of a swisher leaf—versatile, elegant, and perfectly suited to enhance the natural surroundings.
