Wedding magic in an Iowa prairie? You betcha, it can happen. Enter Christine & Phil's stunning summer wedding at their family farm, an idyllic acreage surrounded by acres of glorious prairie and towering woods. It's just what you imagine when you read a story book!
We planned their artful garden style wedding flowers long distance. I was so excited for their wedding, as I'd been to their farm once before, and could picture how beautiful everything would be! Unfortunately, their wedding journey was not immune to the pandemic. Shortly after the world seemed to shut down, they had to make the difficult decision to postpone their wedding until the next year.
Slowly but surely, the wedding date finally arrived. I was so excited to bring the bouquets into the house and present them to Christine! They were full of beautiful midwest dahlias, roses and garden roses, ranunculus, zinnias, and snapdragons in memory of a special loved one.
It was a steamy Iowa summer day, but the beautiful sailcloth reception tent and surrounding trees kept the heat at bay. Inside the tent, lush garden style centerpieces were nestled among thoughtfully curated décor atop handmade wood and linen covered tables. And down a winding path through the woods, another green prairie held their ceremony location. A lush illusion arch framed the couple as they exchanged their vows. It truly was a magical day for this couple!
